I doubt if we will ever develop an ideal system, but certainly we will improve on the continuity of care for the elderly person. This will involve improved communication beween physicians, and other members of the health profession as well. In recent years, there is no doubt that medical science has advanced rapidly, but I believe that this will be accelerated and there will be numerous new affective pharmacologic agents and diagnostic procedures.
